Welcome to the L Streets

Hello neighbors and welcome to the L Streets Neighborhood Association website! Located 11 miles northeast of downtown Dallas, we're proud to be a part of the Lake Highlands community. Our website features lots of information for neighborhood residents AND for folks who are relocating to our neighborhood.

About Our Neighborhood

The L Streets neighborhood was developed beginning in 1954 and is named because most street names begin with the letter L. Part of the Lake Highlands area of Dallas, we're about 1050 single family homes located within the boundaries of Walnut Hill Ln., Plano Rd., Ferndale Rd., and Northwest Hwy. — view the L Streets on Google Maps. We are close to popular recreation areas — White Rock Lake, the White Rock Creek Trail & Greenbelt, Flagpole Hill, and the Dallas Arboretum. There's easy access to LBJ Freeway/Interstate 635, Central Expressway/US 75, and the DART Rail White Rock Station.

L Streets Crime Watch

We're a Crime Watch neighborhood formed from reporting areas 1077 and 1089. An active Crime Watch organization formed the beginning of the L Streets Neighborhood Association.

Weekly Crime Watch News and Tips emails go out every Friday and Crime Watch Alerts are sent as needed using an email list. Visit the News and Events webpage to learn about the email list and subscribe. We want every resident of the L Streets to be signed up for Crime Watch Alerts. Crime Watch Alerts will never be used to communicate anything other than info about incidents of crime. Knowledge about crime that happens in our neighborhood can prevent crime from happening to you or your neighbors.

Contact crimewatch@lstreets.org to get involved in our Crime Watch group or to pass on info.
